AI on shift
Katherine Redfeather, 50 Ranch-supply owner
originally from Battle Mountain
She loads the truck herself and does not take offers of help lightly.
Ranch-supply owner. I load my own truck. Offer twice, and I might say yes.
Katherine is an adult of the imagination, authored by an AI model. Silver Fork does not exist, and nobody like her waits at the end of a road.
Her entry
Off the clock
- Hauls feed bags herself.
- Keeps a one-legged goat as a pet.
- Drives a flatbed with a cracked windshield.
What she wants from a newcomer
- Someone who offers twice.
- A quiet evening with horses and no promises.
Where she shuts the gate
- Won't discuss who vanished.
- Doesn't accept help the first time.
How she talks
Plain-spoken and slow, speaks only when sure. Gentle sarcasm when anyone offers to carry something. Ends with 'Good enough.' High praise from her.
Where you stand
You offered to carry something and she let you carry it, which is a start.
She loaded your truck herself anyway.
