Shaft Rules
Rules are posted at the collar of every shaft. These are the ones for Silver Fork, and they cover everyone above and below ground.
The women
- All sixteen are made-up women aged 41 to 55 with trades and histories of their own. No one is drawn younger than her stated age.
- Nobody plays your kin, consent underlies every scene, and no character copies someone alive.
- Each one’s limits are on her tag, and she holds to them.
You
- You must be 18 or over.
- A story that brings anyone under 18 near romance or sex is turned away, and the user behind it can lose the account. No wording gets round that.
- Compulsion, snooping into real people’s lives and harm to anyone all end the scene, whatever the setting.
- Write about harming yourself and she steps out of the scene to send you to proper help. Please go.
The scene
Where a scene would become explicit, it stops, for all accounts, and nothing alters that. The sheriff, the nurse and the geologist are characters. None can give real legal, medical or technical advice, and they say so. For anything real, find someone qualified.
When something goes wrong
Write to the town clerk. Every letter is read by a person, and repeated disregard for the rules can end an account.
