The first shift
Sixteen women have clocked in at their posts, each with a tag and an entry in the report. Pick a shift, talk to whoever is on it, and she remembers how it went.
Getting hired on costs nothing. New arrivals have 3 days of probation with the whole town open; afterwards the day shift carries 10 messages and full crew takes the limit away.
Portraits of the women are up, with a long banner of Main Street on the front page. Nothing on the site is in motion, and should that alter you will read it in this column before anywhere.
