What this place is
We invented a town and its 16 townswomen, gave each a trade and a past, and let you arrive on whichever shift suits you. That is the entire product. A small place suits conversation because everyone in it knows the others, and a newcomer is the most interesting thing to happen all week. We kept the town small on purpose and expect to keep it so.
About the name
The address promises something we do not have. There is no video here and no tie to any video site; the site is chat with fictional women, plus a portrait for each and a banner on the first page. Should that ever change, the assay report will announce it before anything appears.
What Silver Fork will not do
- Arrange anything beyond the screen: the town is not a real place.
- Present a character as a living person.
- Hand what you type to advertisers or to anyone else.
- Draw anyone under 18 into a story, in any costume or on any pretext.
Writing to the clerk
Letters reach a person, at the clerk’s address in the footer. Complaints, corrections and local gossip are all received with equal interest.
